James Castle... or is he?

So maybe I'm the only one to think this, but the video about James Castle showed some photos of him, and he looked exactly like Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade! Grotesque on multiple levels, because that was one creepy movie and Billy Bob is one creepy dude. Has he ever played a normal character? He's always at least a raging alcoholic.
